Over the years, Telugu films have always had stunt sequences of unbelievable proportions. Observers concede that it was only after the advent of heroes like Chiranjeevi & Nagarjuna that the stunt sequences in Telugu films became a bearable affair.
Siva, who has choreographed some rough-looking but utterly practical stunts in director Bala’s films like ‘Pithamagan’ & ‘Naan Kadavul’, has been working in many Telugu films as stunt choreographer. Siva, despite his good work in films, is said to have ‘violated’ the diktat of the local film industry that stuntmen from Tollywood should also be liberally used besides his own trusted team of men.
Siva is said to have not paid any heed to that ‘rule’ even as he continued to make use of stuntmen from his team who had been camping in Andhra Pradesh. A few days back when Siva was planning how to choreograph one particular sequence, a number of local stuntmen from Tollywood entered the shooting spot and started attacking Siva and his men mercilessly.
Siva was stunned by this unexpected assault and believes that some leading heroes were behind the incident. It was only at their behest that local stuntmen entered the shooting spot and attacked him and his team members, he feels.
Wonder what would Siva do now?
