It has been a rare case in Tamil film industry where the films are re-released. It had happened before with Mysskin’s debut directorial ‘Chitthiram Pesudhadi’. Aascar Ravichandran had acquired the rights and his Midas-touch helped the film to have best results.
Now ‘THAA’ seems to be following the same pattern as the producers have decided to re-release the film by next month. This time, the producers have banked their hopes on film’s quality and not any bigger banners. The film will be re-released in January under the banner name of Shreya Films Limited.
‘THAA’ was released on December 3 and couldn’t make it in many theatres due to big tickets like Raktha Charithram, Chikku Bhukku, Easan & Manmadhan Ambu. Few scenes have been deleted from the film that was pertaining to videographers.
