Actress Nayantara, who had a hit in her recent film ‘Baas Engira Baskaran’, happens to be the only actress who has tasted success in all the four South Indian languages in the year 2010. The actress had a turbulent year so far with rumours of her link-up with Prabhu deva filling up the pages of most of the regional dailies and weeklies.
Ramalat, Prabhudeva’s legally wedded wife, has filed a case with Chennai’s Family Court seeking its intervention in uniting her with her estranged husband Prabhu deva. She has also sought the Court’s orders in denying both Prabhudeva and Nayantara in venturing out together. The Court’s summons seeking explanation from Prabhu deva & Nayantara have reportedly not reached the duo.
In this backdrop and as the year draws to a close, Nayantara is very excited about the fact that she happens to be the only actress who has delivered at least a single hit in all the four South Indian languages. She has had ‘BEB’ in Tamil, ‘Bodyguard’ in Malayalam, ‘Simha’ in Telugu and ‘Super’ in Kannada. This little statistics has come as a shot in the arm for the beleaguered Nayantara, sources close to her say.
