Chennai High Court has issued stay on the release of Vijay‘s starrer ‘Kaavalan‘ to hit the screens next month.
J.K.Saravanan, the proprietor of Tantra Films from Singapore against Romesh Babu, producer of ‘Kaavalan’ saying that he had promised overseas rights to him for Rs.5 Crore and took Rs.1.5 Crore as advance. But now Ramesh has sold the rights to Cinema Paradise and when asked for the explanation he threatened that he would cancel the agreement.
The judge stayed the release of the movie for the next six weeks and sent a notice to the producer and also for further investigation.
