Popular Malayalam actress Remya Nambeesan (it’s not Ramya, it’s Remya!), who debuted in the Tamil film Raman Thediya Seethai and later starred in the Telugu film Saarai Veerraju, is debuting as a playback singer showcasing her multiple talents.
The Kerala-born actress has recently crooned a folk song ‘Aande Londe’, composed by popular music composer Sarath for director P. Balachandran‘s Malayalam film Ivan Megharoopan, based on poet P. Kunjiraman Nair’s life.
Significantly, it was only recently that the actress recently expressed her desire to indulge in playback singing in films. Remya got a call from music director Sarath, who asked her to croon a few lines on the telephone. The music director was apparently mighty impressed with her voice and immediately offered her to sing a song.
Remya Nambeesan is currently busy with four Tamil films in Muriyadi Radhika, Aattanayagann (opposite Shakthi), Ilaignan (opposite lyricist Paa Vijay) and Kullanari Koottam) and a Malayalam film titled Traffic.
