Super Star Rajinikanth has a habit of encouraging fresh talents and creations in Tamil cinema industry. The star used to update about the happening in not only Tamil cinema but also in Indian cinema. Rajinikanth never fails to laud a good film and he used to call the crew members to his home for spending time with them personally. Rajinikanth, after watching the special screening of the film expressed his heart full appreciation to the director Prabhu Solomon. Sources say that, Rajini hugged and kissed the director of the film.
Also he penned a appreciation letter for Myna team. In the letter he quoted, every human being as a beast in their heart but it remains hidden due to our traditional values. But it sometimes unleash on its own in certain circumstances beyond the control of human mind. I was really astonished by the characters in the film as I have lived and grown with such kind of characters during my early days. I was really frozen by the way of the actor and actress performance. Myna film is like Kurinji flower such films comes out rarely in Tamil cinema and is a Dravidian movie. Director Prabu Solomon, Cinematographer Sugumar, Music director D Imman, actor Thambi Ramaiyya has done a brilliant job and their efforts behind the screens are clearly visible. The team has given a visual feast to the audience. Also I thank Shalom Studios, AGS and Udhayanidhi Stalin from the bottom of my heart for giving such a film. The only regret I felt after watching the movie is that I couldn’t get a chance of performing in this film.
Congratulations pour in for Prabhu Solomon
Director Prabhu Solomon, who has made interestingly entertaining films such as ‘King’, ‘Laadam’ and ‘Lee’, had his latest directorial venture ‘Mynaa’ releasing on the eve of Deepavali. The film, which was distributed by Udhanayidhi who liked the film very much, has become the surprise hit among the four films that released on Deepavali.
‘Mynaa’ has been appreciated by many from within and outside the Kollywood industry for its portrayal of a village love story in an admirable manner. The kudos and appreciation that he has been getting from almost all the quarters has made Solomon an extremely happy man and he is thankful to the ‘Almighty’ that he has at last managed to silence his detractors.
More than a month back, when the film’s audio was launched, Kamal Haasan and director Bala appreciated the film very much. Their appreciation apparently has now passed on to the general public, which has started loving the movie in a big way. Vikram, who played hero in Solomon’s ‘King’ earlier, say ‘Mynaa’ with his family and congratulated Solomon for making a ‘nice’ film.
Director and producer Lingusamy, actor Vishal and many others too have joined the others in expressing their appreciation to Solomon. Lingusamy not only stopped at congratulating Solomon but has also signed him up to direct the next film to be produced by him under his own banner. Reports say that Solomon has even been paid a huge sum as ‘advance’.
Solomon, who has been given a ‘free hand’ by Lingusamy to choose the cast, might go with Vidharth (who had debuted as hero in ‘Mynaa’) as the hero of the film he would be directing for the latter.
