In spite of film’s shooting being completed before a very long time, the producers of KBR Pvt Ltd & Moser Baer struggled a lot to release the film. Nearly more than 50 private shows were organized for theatre exhibitors and distributors. Finally, K. Bhagyaraj gets a new lease of hope as the film will be released on November 26.
The film is reported to be a breezy love story with more realms of youth centric ingredients.
Couple of songs from the film scored by Dharan has captured our interests. Especially Yuvan Shankar Raja’s ‘Poove Poove’ and Venkat Prabhu’s remix of ‘Naa Aalana’ song has been continuously aired on radio stations.
‘Sidhu Plus Two’ would charm everyone: Bhagyaraj
Actor-director-producer K. Bhagyaraj, who had completed making the film ‘Sidhu Plus Two’ starring his son Shanthanu in the lead, has said that various unexpected factors combined to cause ‘some hiccups’ which have resulted in the film not hitting the screens so far.
“When you’re running out of luck, whatever you do would invariably go wrong. The same thing has happened in my case; that’s why I’m taking my own time in releaseing ‘Sidhu Plus Two’, which has Chandni opposite Shanthanu. Usually, I never publicise my films; I would let the media be award of it only after finishing the film.
“This film has turned out to be an exception. Though I had planned well, things had gone wrong for no fault of mine. After some unexpected hiccups which have since been ‘addressed’, the film is ready for release. I was never in a tense mood even when my first directorial venture released more than three decades ago; however, I’m a bit tense now.
“Chandni, the heroine, has great potential to become a good actress on the lines of Saritha, Oorvasi & Shobana. She has dubbed in her own voice in the film. Rajesh, ‘Ganja’ Karuppu and others are in the film which has the father-son sentiment, romance and other entertaining aspects. It’s a film not only for the youth but for the entire family,” concludes Bhagyaraj.
