Playback singer K.J Yesudoss, who has mesmerized millions of his fans and music lovers with his magnetic voice, has always preferred to stay away from the limelight, letting his voice speak for himself. A known devotee of Lord Ayyappa, Yesudoss remains a true musician who has withstood opposition from his own community in rendering devotional songs of his own choice.
Though he has sung thousands of songs in various Indian languages, he has never appeared on-screen in any of the films. This is soon going to be a thing of the past as he has consented to act in a film directed by his friend.
Leading Malayalam director Rajan Sankarathi, who also happens to be a close pal of Yesudoss, is all set to direct a trilingual film titled ‘Cleopatra’ in which Yesudoss might play a significant role. The film would be portraying the inner beauty of the Indian woman besides portraying seven types of characters. The director, while giving enough hint as to what would the story be looking like, isn’t going to reveal anything about Yesudoss’ character in it.
The film is likely to be shot at Palakkad, Ooty and Hyderabad.
