Actress Oviya, who made quite an impression with the audience as well as with the industry folks with her role opposite Vimal in her debut film ‘Kalavaani’, was immediately booked for a few films like ‘Sevanu’ and four more films. The booking spree by the actress surprised many within and outside the industry.
She was also signed up to play the lead and title role in the film ‘Amaraa’, which was to be directed by cinematographer-turned-director Jeevan. Reports say that due to the problems she posed to the director in her call-sheet management, she has now been shown the exit door from the film. Jeevan has told her that she is no more part of the film and has asked her to return the amount of advance paid to her.
Unconfirmed reports say that the upcoming actress’ liaison with an ‘youth’ played the spoilsport and was mainly instrumental in her getting shunted out of the film.
Isn’t it high time that the one-film old Oviya concentrated only in films?
