The Superstar continues to create magic. ‘Get ready folks’. With Rajinikanth uttering these words, a trailer of ‘Endhiran’ comes to an end. But this has marked the beginning of a never seen before hype and expectation in Tamil Nadu, with just 10 days left for the film’s release.
Not just Rajini fans and film buffs, but celebrities too are equally expecting the D-day. As R Parthiban said at the trailer launch function in Chennai Saturday, “We don’t want any money or gifts for attending this event. But a ticket for Endhiran”.
And Rajini fans, whose list is endless, were cheered across the State and burst crackers besides performing ‘Palabhishekam’ and distributing sweets to mark the ‘Endhiran’ trailer release. In other words, a festival mood prevailed at theatres all over Tamil Nadu where the trailer was screened.
Over to Shankar, the man, who lets his movies to do all the talking, was excited to talk about ‘Endhiran’. “It is a science fiction and hence demanded state-of-the-art technology in filmmaking. The Superstar had been very co-operative right from the day one and even visited the United States a couple of times for animation purposes.”
Showering praises on Rajini, Sun Pictures CMD and the proud producer of ‘Endhiran’, Kalanithi Maran, said, “No one can equal Rajinikanth. If there is a Superstar in Indian cinema, that is Rajini alone. Shankar always combines mass and class elements and doubly so is ‘Endhiran’. With Rajini, he has created a magic on screen which will bring laurels to Indian cinema in general and Tamil cinema in particular. Rajini is a legend and he has honestly worked for two years to ensure all is well with Endhiran”.
