Gowtham Menon’s long time associate Krishna made his debut directorial with Suriya-Jyothika starrer ‘Sillunnu Oru Kadhal’ and now after 4 years, is ready with his next movie.
Four years – isn’t this a very long time for a successful filmmaker to make his next film? ‘Definitely not’ reaffirms Krishna as he spent more time over crafting a substantive tale of yet another emotional romantic-thriller.
Having gained appreciations for a poignant tale of romance in ‘Sillunnu Oru Kadhal’, director Krishna has completed shooting for his next film ‘Yen Ippadi Mayakkinai’. The film is produced by Pyramid Saimira in collaboration with Kovai Thambi of Mother Land Pictures.
Actress Shalini’s younger brother Richard Rishi performs the lead role of a hip-hip dancer while couple of newcomers Vainavi and Bangalore based Vedha have starred opposite him in female lead roles.
Lakshmanan Ramalinga is well known for composing jingles for commercial advertisements and is now making his debut in films as a music director.
The album has 6 tracks, amongst which one of them is penned by Na. Muthukumar while the rest are by a 23-yr old Karthik Netha.
Director Krishna has assured that though the complete story is based on romance, there are more thrilling moments in the screenplay that’ll keep the audiences on edge-of-their-seats.
The film is slated to hit screens in September.
