Actor Vishal has had a solitary film of his releasing in the first half of this year in ‘Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai’. The actor is presently doing ‘Avan Ivan’ alongside Aarya, a film being directed by the mercurial Bala, who won the national award for best ‘director’ for his Aarya-starrer “Naan Kadavul” early this year.
Vishal has signed up a new film which would be directed by Prabhudeva, the choreographer-turned-film-maker. Once Prabhu deva completes his film ‘Ich’ starring ‘Jeyam’ Ravi and Hansika Motwani in the lead. After ‘Ich’ Prabhudeva would direct Vishal in his next movie, which is yet to be named.
In this untitled film, Vishal would be pairing up opposite Trisha, who has been the reigning queen of Tamil films along with Tamannaah. This would be the first time Vishal and Trisha would be acting opposite each other. Trisha is said to be somewhat upset at the moment as her debut Hindi film “Khatta Meetha” hasn’t been doing great business in Mumbai and elsewhere.
Though upset about the debacle of her debut film in Hindi, this obviously hasn’t deterred her from starting work on her second Hindi film, a remake of the Tamil hit ‘Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya’, opposite Prateik Babbar. The film would also mark the directorial debut of Gautham Menon in Hindi.
She’s also hoping that the sexy profile photographs that she got shot on her on the eve of the release of her Hindi film, which are in circulation among Bollywood producers even now, would fetch her more offers. At present, though, she has a solitary film in Tamil in ‘Manmathan Ambu’ opposite Kamal Haasan and Madhavan.
