Winning international recognitions during the previous year, A.R Rahman has gone busy as he cannot afford to sign more Tamil projects. The music director has made himself limited to certain number of projects a year as he wants to pull himself into the international projects.
Manifestly, to obtain the similar perfection over the musical touch, the producers and filmmakers have started opting for his students. First to lead the league is actor-music director Thamman (Cool fat drummer in Shankar’s ‘Boys’). In fact, the music director is making a great time in both Tamil and Telugu film industries as all his musical albums have leaped with laurels.
Sathish Chakravarthy may be a new chap in town, but his debut album ‘Leelai’ was released nearly before a year. Having been a part of Rahman’s team, the young musician seems to have acquired the maestro’s touch as it can felt over his sound engineering and orchestration.
Meanwhile, Rahman’s sister Raihanah too has been keeping herself noted with few projects. The recent release ‘Kadhalagi’ had Raihanah tuning melodies for the songs while the background score was done by Thamman.
Now, more musicians from A.R. Rahman’s School KM conservatory are foraying into film industry and let’s hope they deliver the best pieces of works.
