It’s an era of many journalists getting their tickets to filmdom. From the past, we have come across many journalists foraying into Kollywood and indeed making it bigger. Recently, one of the journalists named Murugan has been making his debut directorial with a tentatively titled film ‘Chandrababu’ with Johnny of ‘Renigunta’ fame donning the lead character. Another journalist Gnanavel from Anandha Vikatan has now penned dialogues for Tamil version of Surya’s upcoming film ‘Rattha Charithram’.
Apart from these personalities, one of the senior most journalists named Devaraj turned the spotlights with his mind-boggling performance in Ameer’s ‘Yogi’ (the person, who enacted the role of Ameer’s cruel father). Appreciating his best performance, many filmmakers have come forward offering him more roles. In fact, the journalist is reported to have missed more offers due to some constraints.
Veteran writer Theodre Bhaskaran made his onscreen appearance with Moser Baer’s ‘Aval Peyar Tamizharasi’.
