Tamannah’s answer is a big no to reports that she has been demanding Rs. One crore as remuneration from producers. “It’s not true. My salary is not one crore,” says the ‘Sura’ heroine, clearing the air.
“I don’t know how such rumours spread. Producers know what my value is and they are giving me what I deserve. I never demanded a particular amount as remuneration and one crore is not my salary,” she says.
Recalling her three-year long struggle in Tamil cinema, Tamannah says, “Many say I am now the numero uno actress of Kollywood. But I don’t believe it. At the same time, I would like to thank everyone who has been encouraging me.”
On her recent release ‘Sura’, she says, “Being part of Vijay’s 50th film is nothing short of a delight. He used to say on the sets that I am a dedicated actress. Equally dedicated he is and he is very friendly too.”
