Proving it to be a black horse at global box office, James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ kept raising our expectations on its launch of home video. As a matter of fact, James Cameron assuring his plans about adding lots of special features with a 4-Disc pack at both Blue Ray and DVD.
Regrettably, the home videos were launched day before yesterday throughout the country. It was a moment of excitements on par with getting the hopes dashed down. The DVD priced with a big cost doesn’t carry even a single special feature. The Blue Ray version costs Rs. 1250 with just a label of HD feature while DVD hasn’t got anything in exception.
The only highlighting factor is that the audio option of watching the film in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi at the viewers’ choice. Naturally, the sales have been tremendous and the dealers are brimmed with assuredness that it would again scale the greatest sales just as it was with its theatrical release.
