After the rapid releases of action-packed thrillers and romantic entertainers, it’s time to get ready for emotional dramas of bonding relationships between Dads-and-Sons.
The forthcoming flicks lined up for release is centered on such motifs that may receive laurels from family audiences.
Aatanayagan: Starring P. Vasu’s son Sakthi in lead role, Nasser plays his father’s role and then entire story is about the conflicts and bonding between them. Ramya Nambeesan from God’s own country stars opposite him in female lead and Santhanam takes care of comedy tracks. The film is directed by Krishnaram, who earlier worked as assistant to K.S Ravikumar and Vikraman. ‘Billa’ fame Aditya plays the role of Sakthi’s elder brother.
Kadhirvel: The film travels on the same storyline about vivifying relationship between father and son. Over here, it’s ace actor Ponvannan enacting the father’s role Veluchamy while Ajmal is his son Kathiresan. Just as the title denotes the combined letters of father-and-son, this is expected to be a great story about affection and love set against backdrops of action.
Naan Mahan Alla: Don’t take this to be a remake of Rajnikanth’s yesteryear blockbuster ‘Naan Sigappu Manidhan’ that was based on Charles Bronson starrer Death Wish. This is completely different as it brings out the emotions and outlooks of an ordinary youngster and philia for his dad that later turns into a crime thriller with unexpected twists and turns.
Let’s await the release of these films that may surely offer a sense of great enjoyment for audiences with a meaningful essence of relationships.
