Urvashi Sharma claims, “I don’t want a bad girl image. I come from a decent family. I’m happy with the pretty and girl-next-door tag rather than being called hot and sexy. It’s not that I can’t look hot, but that won’t be me.” She goes on to add how people have found her cute in her bikini sequence in Naqaab.
But doesn’t all this talk of a good girl image and bikini sound contradictory, one wonders. Urvashi reasons, “I am comfortable in a bikini. There’s nothing wrong in it as long as you can carry it off. You either look cheap or hot in a bikini. And I don’t look cheap. In fact, I don’t look hot either. Like I said, I look cute in a bikini.”
That’s fine. And is she certain that Bollywood won’t stereotype her if she is so gung-ho about her girl-next-door image? “Image can be created but not talent. Finally, it’s about talent. Simply put, it’s a combination of kismet and skill. If something’s not meant for you, it won’t happen,” Urvashi justifies.
And how does she look at the rumours of her dating gutka king’s son, Sachin Joshi? “I wouldn’t even want to comment on it,” she is loud and clear.
