Forget Simran‘s categorical statement that she would not act in any roles other than heroine roles. Following a supportive role in Gautham Menon‘s ‘Varanam Aayiram‘, she is donning another supportive role in Hari’s ‘Seval’, featuring Bharath and Poonam Bhajwa in the lead roles.
Though it is a supportive role, it is said to be a very strong role that could make more impact than that of heroine’s role. Insiders say that it would be similar to the role of Nadhiya in Hari’s ‘Thamirabharani’.
Hari actually approached Simran with a lot of hesitation, as she had recently declared that she would take up only the lead roles. But Simran accepted to act in his film after hearing the story. The salary package for Simran is said to be a whooping amount.
So, the erstwhile Kollywood queen Simran has finally made a comeback, albeit in a different form.
