History seems to be the order of the day lately. The latest stars to join this band wagon are Deepika padukone and Akshay Kumar. Deepika has landed for herself the role of Rani Laxmibai and Akshay will get to play the role of Tatya Tope. Reports say that Vinay Shukla has signed the dotted line for directing this film. This flick will span the events that took place during the time of Rani laxmibhai and the contributions made by Tatya Tope, Nansahed Peshwa. Sources also suggest that while Deepika has expressed her interest to star in this film, hero Akshay Kumar is yet to confirm his dates for the flick. The film will be made with the support from the Information & broadcast Ministry and Firoz Nadiawala might be the producer.
