With young actresses easily grabbing away the chances from Trisha, she has decided to make her stable in the industry. At the moment, she is quite distressed about her aging looks and about her wrong decision that audiences would always accept her in glamorous roles. Now, Trisha has assured that she would no more go for unnecessary glamorous roles and would be focusing on the roles of homely girl. Her present film, ‘Abhiyum Naanum‘ is close on the heels of getting completed and her other projects are ‘Chennayil Oru Mazhaikalam‘ directed by Gowtham Menon, Selvaraghavan’s directorial with Surya in lead role and some more are under discussions.

Prakash Raj, who plays the father of Trisha in ‘Abhiyum Naanum’, has showered praise on the cute girl’s ability to carry a meaty role. The movie produced by his own production house Duet Movies along with Moser Baer, deals with the tender relationship between a father and a daughter.
The versatile actor reveals in his recent interview to a weekly magazine that Trisha was chosen for the role, as she was considered as the best choice. “I have seen a sort of childishness in Trisha. She has all the qualities that Abhi has. So we selected her”, says Prakash Raj. “She is a lovable daughter”, adds the actor.
The story deals with the subtleties of the relationship between the father and the daughter. “A father is born when a daughter is born. A father, who caringly looks after the girl right from the birth, has to accept the painful separation when she goes out after marriage. ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ is the story of the man”, says Prakash Raj.
Interestingly, producer cum lead actor Prakash Raj and director Radha Mohan have the first hand experience of bringing up a daughter. While Radha Mohan has one daughter, Prakash Raj has two. So we can expect a realistic portrayal of the relationship based on their experience.
