Kalyani (born 23 November 1990) is a South Indian actress.
She started acting as a child in a number of television series and rose to fame with her first major role in Alli Thandha Vaanam, a film of the Tamil cinema.
She changed her name as “Poornitha” and acted in Marandhen Meimarandhen which was first full fledged heroine, then Prathi Gnayiru 9.30 to 10.00 and went on to act in Malayalam and Telugu films as well. She was also the anchor of Vijay TV Super Mom. After entering Vijay Tv, she has changed her name to her original name “Kalyani”. She is currently acting in a television series called Pirivom Santhipom on Vijay TV and also hosting Super Singer Junior.
