Maatraan is a 2012 Tamil action thriller film directed and co-written by KV Anand and scripted by Subha. It stars Surya, who would portray the protagonist and antagonist, along with Kajal Agarwal.
The film is to be released on Independence Day in India which is August 15th, 2012 along with a dubbed Telugu version titled Duplicate.
