The Bachelor’s course is of three-year duration and post-graduation is of two-year duration. It is also mandatory to undergo a one-year internship after completing the graduation course. The course contents include anatomy, biomechanics, disability prevention, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, psychology, medical and surgical conditions, kinesiology, rehabilitation, etc. Apart from degree courses, various short-term certificate courses are also available. Some personal traits that a physiotherapist must possess are: knowledge of the human anatomy, good interpersonal skills, logical reasoning, stamina, communication skills, team spirit, career-oriented, etc.
