A comprehensive cure
Homeopathy is a system of medicine which is practiced on the principle, that the principle of ‘Like can cure Like’ forms the basis of Homeopathy. It is a system of medicine which believes that a drug and a disease which produce similar symptoms cancel each other out in some way thereby restoring the patients to health. It is named after the Greek words, ‘ Homeo’ meaning similar and ‘Pathos’ meaning suffering or treatment by the same. This system of healing was founded by a German doctor, Samuel Christian Hahnemann (1755) and is recognized as an effective means of treating diseases. Today this system of medicine has become an integral part of the Indian way of life even though it was developed abroad. There are many institutes imparting Homeopathy courses in India.
It is accepted among the people partly due to its incredible healing capacity and partly because of the belief that its remedies are so refined that they don’t cause any harmful results.
Two persons with same illness are given different remedies based on their individual nature as the remedy chosen is based on the symptoms as well the character and temperament of the patient.
