Shirya Saran has with drawn from the Danush film to be directed by Vetrimaran and returned the advance for the film. The reason for this is said to be the delay in launching the project. Kathiresan the producer of this movie had signed Shriya to be Dhanush’s heroine in a film, which was to start in April. But due to various reasons the film got delayed and then it was decided that the launch will happen after Danush finishes his Padikkathavan movie. (more…)

On Rajinikanth’s request director P.Vasu has cut some dialogues from Kuselan which his fans found objectionable. The irony of it was that the scene and dialogues were put in by Vasu to create a halo around the stars image, which has backfired!
Remember the famous Muthu classic dialogue - Eppo varuvein eppadi varuvein theriyadhu, vara vendiya nerathil varuvein.. For the man on the streets it was a clear indication that Rajinikanth would enter politics, which added to the star’s political clout in Tamilnadu. This kind of punch line political innuendos has not only helped Rajinikanth to create a larger than life image on screen but in real life too as he was made out to be bigger than any politician in the state! With young actresses easily grabbing away the chances from Trisha, she has decided to make her stable in the industry.
