Acting runs in her blood as she is the daughter of legendary actor Kamal Hassan. Shruti Hassan, who is carrying forward her dad’s legacy, is following in his foot steps.
Shruti Hassan is just seen in Ramayya Vasthavayya alongside Junior NTR as Ammulu where she will die towards the end of the film. This has not gone well with her fans. But Shruti Hassan feels the otherwise. “I’m quite comfortable while dying on screen as I grew up watching most of my dad’s films which have him playing such roles.”
She has played a brief role in the film. Is she fine being part of cameos? “I was little apprehensive at first, it’s director Harish Shankar‘s confidence that made me to took up the offer. I’ve worked with him earlier for Gabbar Singh and I know that he will take care of my character. Also my role plays significant part in the second half of the film as the whole story revolves around my role Ammulu. If I believe that my role has significance and brings me recognition, I don’t have any qualms to do even cameos which last for five minutes.”
And as expected, Shruti Hassan heaped praises on co-star Junior NTR and hailed him as a great dancer and expressed her happiness over sharing screen space with him.
