Santhanam to do away with double-meaning dialogues?

Santhanam and his double-meaning dialogues are as inseparable as nail and flesh. However, it appears that the comedian has made a conscious decision to do away with his trademark double-meaning dialogues from now onwards.

Thanks to Vadivelu’s absence in Kollywood for more than two years, Santhanam  remains the  top comedian in Tamil films with very little fight from his peers like Parotta Soori and Thambi Ramaiah.

But Critics feel that Santhanam comic work is increasingly becoming unpopular with women for these double-meaning dialogues in films such as Alex Pandian and Settai.

Santhanam, who apes the great Goundamani’s style in all his films, appears to have woken up (not late, though) and decided to shun the double-meaning dialogues completely in his upcoming films.

For his own sake and thankfully for the audiences, Santhanam appears to have taken the right decision at an appropriate time especially at a time when Vadivelu is on a comeback mode!
