Millennium Visual Medias, a new production company in Kollywood, has launched its maiden production and titled it as Thee Kulikkum Pachai Maram. Prajin, a popular host on small screen, plays the hero in the film opposite debutant heroine Prayu. Beautiful-looking Prayu has, however, starred in many Malayalam movies and hopes to repeat the same success in her Kollywood ventures too.
MS. Baskar, ‘Nizhalgal’ Ravi, TP. Gajendran, Manimaran, Sasha Viswanath and Yogi Babu are the others essaying prominent roles in Thee Kulikkum Pachai Maram. Gautham is the dialogue-writer whereas Arunagiri takes care of scoring the film’s music.
Award-winning Madhu Ambat is the film’s cinematographer while Raji has penned the lyrics in the film. M. Vinish has written the story and dialogues in the film and has also directed the film along with his brother M. Prabeesh.
“Pandi (Prajin), who comes out of his juvenile rehab centre after being sent there on a false accusation by his teacher, is forced to take to unlawful activities by his friends. Firm not to do so, he joins a mortuary as an attendant. The rest of the story is all about he reacts to the various frauds committed in the mortuary and the ‘organ stealing’ racket he comes across there,” say the brothers, who have made many advertisements together.
They also inform us that they have ‘altered’ the contents of a real-life incident, which occurred in Kerala and which was widely reported in the local press, to make it fit the film’s screenplay. Thee Kulikkum Pachay Maram’s shooting has been held mostly in and around Pollachi and Udumalaipettai.
