The ‘Settai’ boys

UTV’s Dhananjayan has said that the crux of Delhi Belly will be retained in the remake, tentatively titled Settai. But the dialogues and format will be changed to suit the audiences here, he added.

According to Dhananjayan, jokes that are inherent to the core plot will be retained but the audiences will realize that there is a considerable difference between the original and the remake.

Director John Mahendran is in-charge of the script and dialogues and Santhanam has done some value addition to make it a laugh riot. Settai will have a preface, the crux of Delhi Belly and an ending.

The film stars Aarya in the role done by Imran Khan, Santhanam, Premji Amaran, Hansika Motwani, Anjali, Nasser and others. Director R Kannan is wielding the megaphone for this venture.

UTV Motion Pictures forthcoming rollercoaster ride is Settai, the remake of Bollywood Blockbuster Delhi Belly. The Tamil version features Arya, Santhanam, Premgi Amaranin the lead roles.

With the release of Kalakalappu the production team is getting praises all over and now again UTV Motion Pictures is going to offer something on those lines says trade circles.

Sources reveal that, a 25 days shoot is planned to be canned at the Binny mills. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddarth Roy Kapur, the movie is being directed by R.Kannan of Kanden Kadhalai fame.

Music is being scored by S.Thaman and the camera is cranked by PG Muthaiah with art works by Videsh.
