Ilayathalapathi Vijay’s next outing changed hands. Earlier it was Gemini film circuit which was in plans to present the movie and it is supposed to commence its shooting in end of this month.
But the latest development says that project has been changed hands. As per sources, film will be Kalaipuli S. Dhanu will produce the movie. When asked he said, talks are going on and an announcement will be made shortly. Ace Director AR Murugadoss will yield the mega phone for the film.
Unit is getting ready for a 45day schedule that will continue in Mumbai. According to sources, shooting will commence in Thiruchendur. Kajal agarwal has been roped in to pair opposite Vijay.
Vijay’s ‘Thuppakki’ from Nov 26
The countdown has started. Vijay‘s forthcoming film ‘Thuppakki‘, to be directed by AR Murugadoss, will go on floors in Mumbai on November 26. Kajal Agarwal is playing Vijay‘s heroine in this ‘mega-budget’ movie, which is touted to be an action entertainer.
Initially it was said that Vijay‘s father and Tamil Film Producers Council president SA Chandrasekaran would produce the movie. However, it has now been announced that Kalaipuli S Dhanu would produce ‘Thuppakki‘, due to some unavoidable reasons.
Remember Kalaipuli S dhanu earlier produced ‘Sachin‘ with Vijay and ensured that the film became a hit thanks to his aggressive promotions. Sources close to him say he is happy to produce ‘Thuppakki‘ since it is a commercial movie with a message.
Vijay‘s last film was ‘Velayudham‘ and AR Murugadoss‘s last venture was the Surya starrer ‘7am Arivu‘. Both films clashed for honours at the box office last month on Dewali day. Now the actor and the director and coming together for the new project.

‘Velayudham’ is a big success for ‘Ilayathalapathy’ Vijay and the actor has also finished his ‘Nanban’ with director Shankar and the film will be released for Pongal. Vijay’s next film is directed by AR Murugadoss, who has just delivered his hit ‘7am Arivu’ with Surya.
It is now learnt that the character that Vijay plays in the film is of a ‘Dada’, who helps people and protects them from the evil forces. The character will have shades of Kamal Hassan’s character in the film Mani Ratnam directed ‘Nayagan’. The character in the film travels to Mumbai from his native place Thiruchendur and becomes a ‘Dada’, sources close to the film crew says.
