It is already known that Kajal Agarwal‘s degrading comments on Tamil Film Industry few days ago has invited the wrath of Lungi Babus.
Recently, few media persons tried to cash in on this controversy by trying to know about Priyamani‘s take on the controversy. The dusky siren pleaded them not to drag her into Kajal Agarwal‘s controversy and also made it clear she will always respect the people & Industry who helped her to get to this stage.
When asked Bharathiraja which Industry does she prefer in one of her recent interviews, she replied,”I prefer the Telugu Film Industry as women are respected more than they are in the Tamil Film Industry. In Tamil cinema, they care only about their hero who is God. Of course, I don’t give a s*@# and go and sit in my van”.
Veteran director Bharathiraja who introduced Kajal into films breathed fire at Kajal Agarwal and termed her as arrogant. As the controversy went on to get bigger, Bharathiraja had no other option but to say she has equal respect for both the Industries and will be soon working for two more new Tamil projects.
In fact, Priyamani too made her debut in Tamil under Bharathiraja‘s director and later moved to Telugu. But, the actress played it safe and maintained a dignified stance when media tried to take advantage. Bharathiraja needs to take a leaf out of Priyamani‘s book!
