Ilayathalapathy Vijay is undoubtedly the USP of all his films. A movie is banked on his ability to charm it into success.. The Gilli hero faced a series of mishaps when a few continuous movies turned out to be flops.
The last year has been good to this actor though. “Nanban” and “Thuppaki” has refreshed his look with the audience and made people look at him in a whole new way.
Vijay is currently working on AL Vijay‘s “Thalaivaa” and also signed up for a film with Nesan recently. This made the producers see him as a lucky charm and have them queuing up for his dates now.
Vijay is having the time of his life and one won’t be wrong to say that this hard working hero deserves every bit of this attention.
The Gun will fire in Hindi
Without a doubt, ‘Thuppaki‘ was one of the greatest successes that Tamil cinema has seen in recent times. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the Vijay and Kajal Agarwal starrer continues to bag profit, even beyond 100 days now. Now the magazine is gearing up to shoot out in Hindi too.
The story of a young and energetic army captain, is to be remade in Hindi. The role of ‘Ilayathalapathy’ will be played by Akshay Kumar in the Hindi version. But what is making the buzz right now is the remuneration that Akshay Kumar will draw from this deal. It is rumoured that he will be paid a whooping sum of 50 crore rupees, for this movie! When quizzed about this, “Is it? I am not aware of this. Pay check of the actor is a business strictly between the production house and the actor himself. I am nowhere involved in this” says the director of the movie, ARM.
