The Grammy Awards has been a real award to every musician who has achieved it and is a dream. Having been started in the year 1959, it is being continued until now honoring music.
The 55th Grammy Awards were held on the 10th of February 2013, at the Staples Center in Los Angels. Various famous singers and musicians performed at the Award function.
Celebrities like Taylor Swift, Rihanna. Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Lopez and many other attended the function.
Our very own AR Rahman who made us proud with two Grammy Awards in the year 2009 was also present at the function with his wife.Back then, AR Rahman was awarded the following awards for his work in Slumdog Millionaire.
- 2009 – Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media – Slumdog Millionaire.
- 2009 – Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media – “Jai Ho” – Slumdog Millionaire.
