After Neethaane En Ponvasantham, Ilayaraja’s next outing will be Maranthen Mannithen. Produced by Lakshmi Manchu, the film apart from herself stars Aadhi, Taapsee and Sandeep Kishan in leading roles.
The film will release on February 22nd and the Telugu version, Gundello Godari will hit the screens a day before, on 21st.
Debutant Kumar Nagendra has helmed the film and MR Palanikumar has cranked the camera. The film is touted to be based on true events that happened on the banks of River Godavari, years ago.
