Actor Surya starrer Singam 2‘s first look is out. The film directed by Hari has been progressing well with shoots going on at various locations across interior Tamil Nadu.
Hansika Motwani and Anushka are playing the female leads in the film. Santhanam and Vivek are part of the team. The film is the sequel to Singam and is being produced by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green.
The film is expected to release for summer.
In Telugu the film will be released as Yamudu. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music and camera is by Priyan.
The first glimpse of Suriya in Singam 2, An Indian Police
The first look of Hari’s Singam 2 has been released today, to coincide with Republic Day. The movie has a prominent tag line saying “An Indian Police”. Surya spews aggression and a fiery rage in the stills.
Singam 2 has the same core team which was behind Singam as well. Director Hari, DOP Priyan and composer Devi Sri Prasad would be looking to extend the success that Singam could achieve in 2010.
Surya on the other hand would be looking for a blockbuster after the rather indifferent response his last few releases have been garnering.
