Director Perarasu
The audio launch of Aruvikkaraiyoram was held yesterday at the AVM Studios in Chennai. The film has been produced and directed by Bharathi Mohan who has also played the lead role in it. Julu and Cini are his lead pairs in the film.
‘Makkal Kural’ Ramji was the chief guest at this event in which poet Kamakodiyan, Chakravarthy and Lalitha also participated. Director Perarasu released the audio CD and actor Ashok of Kozhi Koovudhu fame received it from him.
Speaking about the album, Perarasu said that all the songs scored by Thashi have come out well and lyricist Bharathi Mohan, who has penned the lyrics, is to be lauded for it. The lyrics are clear and have not drowned in the music, which is pleasant on the ears, he praised.
The director said that nowadays most of the Tamil songs are dominated with English words and the main culprits for this are the directors and music composers.
