Whenever a new heroine has few features which resemble any of her seniors she is tagged as the ‘Junior’ version of them. Usually this brings an additional publicity and mileage factor with more visibility. However, it appears that despite having the junior tag, luck has not been favoring the new beauties.
For instance, junior Aishwarya Rai is Sneha Ullal, Junior Asin is Poorna, junior Nayantara is Riya, junior Katrina Kaif is Zarine Khan, junior Bipasha Basu is Geeta Basra, junior Jayaprada is Manjari Fadnis etc but till now none of them have been able to make it big in their careers and are make doing with itsy bitsy projects.
In a way, all these starlets have got the right kind of sex appeal and beauty to become good heroines but things never really worked for them. Some of the cine folks say it is also about having the right kind of attitude and the skills to grab opportunities and make the most of it. Of course, the luck factor is always a crucial part. We have to see if someone can break this ‘junior’ jinx.
