OKOK was a comedy caper directed by Rajesh starring Udhaynidhi Stalin, Hansika Motwani and Santhanam in lead roles. The film was a huge success which brought the roof down with its hilarious script and acting.
In a recent interview with the chief of Red Giant Movies, It has been reported that before Hansika Motwani was signed for the project, it was Nayantara who was approached for the female lead role. But the actress neglected it as she wanted a break from films back then. Nayantara who now found SR Prabhakaran‘s ‘Ithu Kathirvelin Kadhali‘ story has accepted to do the female lead in the film in which she is paired up with Udhay.
The film is the second one for Udhay as a hero in which he plays the role of an unemployed guy Kathirvelan who falls for Pavithra played by Nayantara. The film includes Santhanam while Harris has been signed up for scoring the music.
