Here is the news that all AR Murugadoss’ fans have been waiting for! The director is all set to don the director’s robes for the Hindi version of Thuppaki from tomorrow onwards.
The film will have Akshay Kumar reprising the role done by Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the Tamil version.
Thuppaki released to packed houses during Diwali this year and the film has been declared a huge hit. AR Murugadoss’s earlier venture Ghajini, in which Surya played the lead role, was also remade in Hindi which had Aamir Khan essay the role and the film went on to become a phenomenal hit. Following this, there are widespread speculations that the Hindi version of Thuppaki would also turn out to be a massive success.
