Generally collection king Mohan Babu scored a major share of hits and created an impact through his negative roles onscreen. And he has a strong bonding with superstar Rajnikanth. Both of them are thick friends and as part of that, Rajnikanth also agreed to do a fifteen minute powerful cameo in the film ‘Peddarayudu‘ which became a major sensation.
Now, it is heard that the film ‘Rayalaseema Ramanna Choudary‘ was originally to be done by Rajnikanth. The superstar was to do it but it is heard that he didn’t because it has negative shades. So it went to Mohan Babu. Apparently, during the last few years of his career, Rajnikanth ensured that his roles don’t carry strong negative shades.
But maybe for variety and for some character he seems to have made a small change. It is heard that Rajnikanth‘s new film ‘Raana‘ will see him in some strong negative shades. This is being directed by KS Ravikumar and sources say the role will also have a political angle in it though it is a period film. That way, Rajnikanth seems to be taking back what he gave to Mohan Babu.
