There is a general unwritten rule in the film industry that the moment a heroine reaches the age of thirty or gets married she is branded as an aunty and only that type of roles come to her. This is more prominent in the south industry. But one lady has made it clear that she will not do any cheap aunty roles.
She is none other than the Athiloka Sundari Sridevi. Recently, Sridevi made her comeback after an absence of 15 years and did a film ‘English Vinglish‘. This became a super duper hit and offers of films came flooding to her. But it is heard that Sridevi is very particular about her next film and she is not showing any haste.
Sources say Sridevi doesn’t want to do any nasty roles and her next film should give her character a good meat and strong screen presence. Usually there is a tendency among our folks of shaping ex-heroines either as hot aunties or angry Mother-in-Law but looks like that is not going to work with Sridevi.
