For the first time, a producer alone sent to Malaysia and shot entire film with the cast and crew from Malaysia itself. They have filmed a superb horror movie there. Ashwin Studios Arur Sundaram, P. M.Mohammed Moideen, P.M. Jayyullaptheen presents NGP Films Navaneethan produces Adutha Kattam , the movie’s trailer launch held in Prasad Lab theater recently . Actors Srikanth, Sampth directors Va.Gowthaman and Rajakumaran grcaed the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Va.Gowthaman said,”producer Aarur Sundaram is very much passionate on Film direction…he has studied Direction Dip In Film tech and eagerly waiting for giving good films. Now he has produced a horror film with Malaysian casts and crew. Its highly appreciable one. Its amazing to know that the entire film has been shot on available lights.
We have to encourage our filmmakers. Here the worst things are happening. Our film makers are celebrating one’s victory and failure as well. Our film makers itself send negative comments even after watching the first reel. If we will not support our film makers who else will come and support..?
But still we should encourage good films only. We never allow the films which will spoil our culture and heritage.”
Actor Srikanth appreciated the idea of giving opportunity to the Malaysian talents. Director Rajakumaran mentioned, “nowadays technology improved.. everyone taking film with 5D and 7D camera. Its good for film industry”.
The producer Navaneethan Ganesan said, “for a first time we made this film with entire malaysian casts and crew.. we have an idea of doing films with techiniceians from both Tamil and Malaysian film industries. In that case Malaysian technicians will be abe to learn things and the output of the film will be really good..”
