Vasundhara Das is back

Remember Vasundhara Das. She made her debut as playback singer with Shaka Laka Baby set to tunes by AR Rahman. She ventured successfully to acting with Kamal Hassan starrer Hey Ram and Ajith’s Citizen. However she could not be seen much after that.

Now she is back to do what she knows the best – singing.

She will be lending her voice for a song in the upcoming film Nadhigal Nanaivadhillai. The film’s directed by VC Anbazhagan. Incidentally, Vasundhara Das is the founder of Aarya, a world-music band.
