The story as we know is entirely set in Mumbai and Vijay plays a Mumbai Thamizhan, named Jagdish, who sets out on a mission to wipe out sleeper cells that are out to terrorize Mumbai through serial bomb blasts.
Director AR Murugadoss is all set remake Thuppaki in Hindi with Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra and meanwhile releasing the Tamil version of Thuppaki in about 31 screens alone in Mumbai.
Distributors have even arranged paid premiers yesterday and happy with the tremendous response from the viewers.
