Superstar Rajnikanth’s fans will be celebrating their hero’s birthday on 12 December in a gala manner. Interestingly it will be 12-12-12.
And plans are on to release Sivaji: The Boss, produced by AVM Productions, in 3D format on the day. Rajnikanth in 3D would be shown on maximum screens; its like carpet bombing to reach out to a large audience in one go. In Tamil Nadu alone 400 of the 1000 digital screens are 3D ready.
Sivaji, a political thriller that brought together the formidable trio of Rajnikanth, Shankar and AR Rahman turned out to be a blockbuster in 2007 and struck gold.

Sivaji: The Boss is a film directed by Shankar with Rajnikanth, Shriya Saran, Vivek in the lead roles along with Suman and Raghuvaran playing significant roles. The film was released in 2007 and rocked the box office.the music was by AR Rahman, Camera by KV Anand and Art by Thotta tharani.
The film was produced by AVM Productions.
Now, the makers have plans to release the 3D version of this film for this Christmas as a New year gift for the coming year too. This cannot be pirated hence it becomes a must watch film in the cinemas. The original version was released by Ayngaran International who are all set to take this 3D version also worldwide.
