Actor Mahesh babu always enjoyed a good patronage in Tamil cinema. His Telugu films that were dubbed and released in Tamil had good patronage.
There was a buzz that he would be acting in a direct film and rumours were that it would be Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan. However the movie was shelved.
Now the latest buzz is that Mahesh Babu will act in a straight film to be directed by director Krish, who made films like Vedam and Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum. It would be produced by Ashwini Dutt.
Mahesh Babu was brought up in Chennai and his diction in Tamil is amazing, say sources. Hence he would dub for himself in Tamil.
