Director Venkat Prabhu is all set to host a TV show for Tamil cinema fans titled ‘Kollywood King‘ and will be turning into a host in the upcoming months.
The director who got introduced to Kollywood with Chennai 600028 has went on to make three other successful films in Saroja, Goa and Mankatha.
Post Mankatha, the blockbuster which had Ajith in the lead, Venkat Prabhu has been busy cooking up his next film, Biriyani with Karthi.
However, reports reveal that he will now be getting his own show in Kollywood King. Interestingly, each episode of the show will feature fans of a particular actor and the ones who answer the most number of questions about them will be crowned the champion. As most of us know, Venkat Prabhu shares a friendly relationship with a lot of names in the industry and would make a good choice for a show of this sorts.
We can look forward to seeing him on the smaller screen for a change with this great idea for a show.
