Actress Vedhika new rustic look in director Bala’s next flick has been getting her a lot of attention off late. She is playing a village girl in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Paradesi.
The movie is inspired by the novel Red Tea, which is based on the hardships faced by the plantation workers in Tamil Nadu.
“Director Bala just took the inspiration from the novel but the movie isn’t an adaptation of the novel. I play a very rustic character. It’s been a terrific experience working with Bala. Also playing a character set in pre-independent India has been a great experience,” she added.
Adharva is playing the lead in the film that will be releasing in Telugu as well. The actress is excited about her Tamil films these days. She is also in talks with few projects but yet to be finalized.
