We are well known of the fact that Thuppaki has been confirmed to release on Dewali. It was only Simbu’s Poda Podi to clash with Thuppaki on Dewali. Now there are other two films to join the Dewali release that is Vikram Prabhu’s Kumki and Vishal’s Samar.

The distributors are the one who are going to be affected, if all big budget films release at the same time. Due to this the makers won’t release more than two big budget films at the same time. But this Dewali is going to have four big films Thuppaki, Poda Podi, Kumki and Samar. In this list Thuppaki is the most expected movie by the audiences.

The reason for releasing more number of films for Dewali is that the distributors who have earlier affected by Vijay’s movies are taking revenge on Thuppaki. It seems like Vijay’s movies which didn’t hit the box office collection have not given compensation to the distributors so they are trying to make loss for Thuppaki by reducing the number of theatres for the release.

After a long battle for Thuppaki title now the problem has come by the distributors. Anyways Thuppaki is expected to overcome all those problems and blast on the lights of the festival.

Vijay and Andrea do it for Thuppaki!

Actor Vijay and actress Andrea have rendered a party track Google Google for Thuppaki, revealed lyricist Madan Karky. He has said that this is a very unique song as it will introduce all the characters in the film.

The audio launch of Thuppaki is due on October 11th and Madan Karky has given a sneak peek of one of the songs in the album. Thuppaki, directed by AR Murugadoss and starring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles, is slated for release for Diwali this year.

The first of Ilayathalapathy Vijay‘s AR Murugadoss directed Thuppaki ad, after winning the court case has been lapped up by his fans. The ad has appeared in today’s newspapers announcing – “Audio coming soon”.

It is beautifully designed ad that shows Vijay in an army uniform carrying Kajal Agarwal (wearing his military hat) in his arms (Reminds you of the famous “An Officer and a Gentleman” poster).

What comes across is that the film not only has a catchy action title but is also a romantic family entertainer.

Thuppaki produced by Kalappuli S Dhanu and marketed by Gemini will have its first press meet on October 10, where the trailer would be launched.

Next day the audio of the film which has music by Harris Jayaraj will hit the music shops.
